MY ROOTS FOUNDATION is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youths, single mothers, and marginalized groups across Tanzania. Our story began with a shared vision among a group of passionate individuals who wanted to turn the challenges of unemployment and poverty into opportunities for growth and hope.
In 2015, our founders came together, driven by a desire to uplift the community through skills development, education, and mentorship programs. They dreamed of creating a space where youths and single mothers could gain the tools, confidence, and support needed to achieve economic independence and personal growth.
Since our official registration as a non-governmental organization, MY ROOTS FOUNDATION has been committed to transforming lives by providing practical skills, promoting education, and fostering cultural pride. Our programs are designed to inspire hope, build self-reliance, and empower individuals to overcome socio-economic barriers.
Today, MY ROOTS FOUNDATION stands as a growing movement of empowerment, education, and transformation—guided by the belief that every youth and disadvantaged individual deserves a chance to thrive, lead, and contribute positively to society.
